Come early to tour The Holocaust Memorial Museum which will be open to the public free of charge from 11AM-2PM

Ongoing throughout event: 

  • Music:  Dana Clark  will be providing music throughout the event.  Thanks to Dana for also donating the use of the sound system.
  • Speaker Bios:
    • Maxine Cohen: Former Director, San Antonio Holocaust Memorial Museum
    • azizah-aziz-300Azizah Aziz: I was born in Malaysia. I resettled in US in 2015 October with my family. Currently I am high school student at Robert. Lee E high school. I worked with UNHCR before I came to USA for experience for 4 months. My ambition is to become a human rights activist. I want to use my education to serving humanity. Being as a rohingya girl, this is my chance to speak out.
  • Information Tables:  Organizations with an interest in human rights issues will have tables set up and be available to answer questions.  If your organization would like to have a table at this event, please Contact Us (no charge for non-profits)
  • Activism:  We will create social media posts to call attention to problem areas in the world.
  • Advocacy:  Participants will have an opportunity to sign a pledge in support of genocide prevention activities by the US government. 
  • Sales:  We will have San Antonio Coalition Against Genocide t-shirts for sale for $12, along with some books and artwork, with proceeds going towards ongoing activities of SACAG.  SACAG works in the areas of anti-genocide advocacy, education and aid to those affected.  
  • Donations:  The walk and all activities are free.  There is a suggestd donation of $5 to be donated for humanitarian aid.
